Dr. Stacia "Stacy" Haynie, Ph.D., has taken on the role of the 13th president of Midwestern State University, commencing her tenure on August 1. Dr. Haynie, originally from Henrietta, Texas, is an alumna of MSU Texas, holding a bachelor's degree in theater (graduating summa cum laude), a master's degree in political science, and a doctorate in political science from the University of North Texas.
In her own words, Dr. Haynie expressed her deep gratitude for being named president of her alma mater, recognizing the exceptional academic foundation she received at MSU Texas and her commitment to extending the same outstanding education to future students.
